The Windsor Constituency: Information and Links

The Windsor Constituency includes half the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (from Holyport in the West to Horton in the East and Ascot in the South). It also includes part of Bracknell Forest Borough (Ascot, Winkfield & Cranbourne, Warfield Harvest Ride and Binfield & Warfield wards) and part of Slough Borough (Colnbrooke with Poyle Ward).

As well as the town of Windsor, the constituency contains the civil parishes of Binfield, Colnbrook with Poyle, Datchet, Eton, Horton, Old Windsor, Sunnindale, Sunninghill, Warfield, part of Winkfield and Wraysbury.

Windsor is within the Government English Region of the South East. The Government Office for the South East represents government in the region and develops regional policy. as the European Parliamentary Constituency. Regional bodies are accountable to the South East England Regional Assembly, which represents its member organisations, and through them the public in the region.

The constituency is within the Thames Valley Strategic Health Authority. It is served by the Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead Primary Care Trust (PCT), the Slough PCT and the Bracknell PCT. The main general hospitals in the area are Heatherwood and Wexham Park, which are run by the same trust.

The constituency is served by the Thames Forest Police Area and the Slough Police Area of the Thames Valley Police.
