Cameron Promotes Anti NHS MEP to European Front Bench, as local Tory MPs fail to back Health Service

Anti NHS MEP, Danial Hannan, has been promoted to his party's front bench in the European Parliament. His promotion instead of sacking clearly shows the Conservatives are a serious threat to the future of the National Health Service.

Mr Hannan famously caused a scandal in the UK, when he described the NHS as a sixty year mistake on American Television, as he intervened against President Obama's attempts to bring about Universal Health Care for Americans.

"This promotion clearly shows how little the Conservative Party values the NHS. Its a clear indicator to anyone in Windsor who relies on the NHS that they shouldn't support the Conservatives." said Lib Dem Spokesman Julian Tisi.

Mr Tisi continued, "A few weeks ago myself and my colleague in Maidenhead, Tony Hill, challenged Adam Afriyie and Theresa May in the press to publicly back the NHS. We along with the residents of Windsor & Maidenhead are still waiting for them to do so."
