Lib Dems Deliver Cheaper Parking to Boost Windsor & Eton Town Centres

The Liberal Democrats  are pleased to announce that the Seasonal Parking Discount scheme begins tomorrow, 1st October 2025.

The initiative offers a 25% reduction on medium-stay parking (2–5 hours) in Alexandra, King Edward VII, and Meadow Lane car parks. For example, a four-hour stay in Alexandra will now cost £7.50 instead of £10.

Cllr Amy Tisi, Lead Member for Windsor, said:

“This seasonal discount is in response to feedback from businesses and residents and is designed to encourage people to stay longer in three of the most popular central car parks. These car parks are ideal for both residents and visitors to use when visiting the town for both leisure and retail therapy!”

Cllr Mark Wilson, Lead Member for Corporate Services, added:

“The discount applies for five months from 1 October 2025 to 30 November 2025 and 2 January 2026 to 31 March 2026. These historically off-peak months are more challenging for businesses and this discount presents an opportunity for visitors to enjoy all that Windsor & Eton has to offer at quieter times, while supporting businesses and boosting the local economy.”

This initiative is a practical way to support local shops, cafés, and businesses while encouraging residents and visitors to spend more time enjoying Windsor & Eton.
