Desperate Conservatives Promote Labour as Voters Reject Nasty Party Policies

6 Apr 2011

Desperate Conservatives in Windsor have started to promote the Labour Party in a bid to stave off defeat in some more marginal wards.

A Press release from Royal Borough Conservatives describes Labour as "resurgent", despite Labour's vote collapsing in Windsor at the General Election.

With many voters in the Royal Borough rejecting Conservative attacks on the vulnerable, like the learning disabled and the elderly - the Conservatives are hoping that they can steer voters who are fed up with them and opposed to their nasty party policies to Labour - who with a 4% share of the vote last time can't win, instead of the Liberal Democrats who can win and stop the local Conservatives' attacks on the vulnerable.

The Conservatives know that in Windsor every vote for Labour helps a Conservative to beat a Lib Dem.

"Until we have fair votes (which the Conservatives oppose) it is a sad fact that a vote for Labour in Windsor is at best wasted vote that helps the Conservatives to win." says local Lib Dem Antony Wood.
