Lib Dem Membership Surge Continues as 12,700 Join in 10 Days

12,707 new memebers have joined the Liberal Democrats nationally in the last 10 days, whilst locally membership is up 40% in the same period.

Local Membership Officer, Andrew Clemo says,

"It's been astonishing. The new talent and skills joining locally will give us big boost towards our campaigning over the next four years, faced with the possibility of the Liberal Democrats disappearing, people have been flocking to join to ensure a Liberal voice remains."

Local Lib Dem and former PPC Julian Tisi says,

"It's fantastic news. We're really looking forward to meeting all our new members and getting them involved in our campaigns for the community."
