Novello Picture House Future Secured!

We are pleased to announce that contracts have been exchanged in the sale of The Novello Theatre, Sunninghill and completion should take place in the coming weeks.

This fantastic news is a significant milestone in a long campaign to secure the future of the theatre, which had fallen into disrepair under the previous Tory administration and faced an uncertain fate of possible demolition and redevelopment.

The Liberal Democrat and Independent Partnership Cabinet voted to allow the theatre to be offered for sale for community use before it was registered as an asset of community value and was then pleased to accept an offer from the dedicated resident campaign group 'Save the Novello Picture House'.

Thank you to all who have worked together to achieve this excellent outcome for the community.
