Ofsted say RBWM Children’s Services are GOOD and OUTSTANDING!
Following recent inspection, Ofsted have judged that Children’s Services in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead are Good, with the service provided to Care Leavers being judged as Outstanding!
Lead Member, Cllr Amy Tisi said, “I am incredibly proud of Children’s Services staff, who work so hard to deliver for our most vulnerable children.”
“As Corporate Parents we must all ask, would this be good enough for my own child?”
There has been clear improvement since the last inspection in 2020, with inspectors agreeing that some areas for improvement had been transformed into strengths!
In the face of significant financial and demand challenges, AfC deliver effective and safe services for RBWM.
Ofsted also recognised the strength of political leadership for Children’s services in Liberal Democrat led, RBWM, saying,
‘The lead member is a committed advocate for children, and children’s services benefit from strong political support, with corporate parenting high on the agenda for elected members.’
