Slough's Labour Council Suspend Housing Staff

Following recent revalations of massive housing benefit losses at the Conservative led Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, the Labour led Slough B orough Council has suspended five of its housing staff .

Five staff from Slough Council's housing team have been suspended from work, in a move described as "a neutral act" to enable an investigation to take place. The Labour led council announced a full investigation was being launched but could not divulge details of he reasons for the investigation, because that, "could prejudice the investigation."
