Wellness Hub Opens in Windsor

Liberal Democrat Councillors joined many others at the opening of the Dr Katie Simpson Wellness Hub at the Dedworth Medical Centre on Saturdauy - a wonderful collection of amazing community organisations came together to promote better wellbeing.
Pippa Rogan, NHS Primary Care Network described the role of social prescribing in linking the GP practice with these community/voluntary wellness organisations and groups.
Liberal Democrats are fighting for a fair deal where mental and physical health are treated equally.
Our plan prioritises early intervention to prevent people from experiencing a mental health crisis and to minimise the number and duration of in-patient stays.
Supporting people with improving their own wellbeing and helping everyone live independent lives for longer into old age or through illness has many benefits and we're delighted to help promote this great initiative.
