This summer, Windsor hosted its very first Windsor & Eton Pride, and a group of us from Windsor Liberal Democrats went along with friends and family to be part of this historic day.

Although political parties were not able to march officially, we were glad to join as individuals and show our support. The photo below was taken near Windsor Castle on the morning of the event.

The atmosphere was filled with joy, colour, and community spirit, as people of all ages came together to celebrate equality and inclusion. It was inspiring to see such a warm welcome for Windsor’s first Pride.

As Liberal Democrats, standing up for equality is part of our DNA. From campaigning for equal marriage to challenging discrimination wherever it appears, our party has a proud record of fighting for fairness. Being at Pride was a chance to live out those values locally and to share in a day that will surely become a cherished annual tradition.

We are already looking forward to next year!
