Around sixty 6th Formers for Windsor Boy's School gave up their lunch hour to attend a political seminar given by Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Antony Wood on the topic 'This house believes that the Liberal Democrats have nothing to offer young people'.
The Windsor Liberal Democrats met with strong support on their action day in Windsor Town on Tuesday 16th November. Former Tory MEP John Stevens, who is now a Liberal Democrat, travelled from Devon to support Antony Wood's bid to become the next MP for the Windsor constituency. While canvassing in Clewer East Ward he said "The Liberal Democrats are a growing force here. When we knock on the door, people are pleased to hear from the Liberal Democrats. What they are crying out for is a hard working and energetic MP who really understands local issues, and that's why I think Antony Wood should be Windsor's next representative in Parliament."
