The Times has uncovered more dodgy donations from millionaires to the Conservative Party. In an article published on the 10th January, the Times revealed that tens of thousands of pounds donated by the Goldsmith family and by the Reuben brothers, who are property developers and aluminium tycoons, had been improperly recorded by the Conservative Party thereby obscuring the source of the money.
The Conservative party hid donations of £40,000 from Zac Goldsmith, his brother Ben and two billionaire brothers in an apparent breach of the law.
