Lib Dems launch their annual Snowy Roads Survey for Winter 2010-11

This week sees the launch of the Lib Dems annual "Snowy Roads" survey for the Windsor Constituency. The on-line survey allows residents to report snow season road and pavement black-spots and also where they are really happy with how the council has responded to snowfall. The survey results are used to contribute to our submissions to the council in advance of the following winter - thereby helping to improve the information available.

Another Accident on the Windsor - Datchet Road

Following the recent findings of a coroner about safety on the Windsor - Datchet Road a pedestrian was hit by a car, causing the Windsor Road adjacent to Datchet Golf Club to be closed for a time on Friday, 22nd October.

Liberal Democrats in Windsor are going to the Polls in a range of internal party elections. Over the next few months they will be voting for roles varying from Liberal Democrat nominees for the House of Lords and the National Party President through to the local Party Officers.

Lib Dems renew calls on Conservatives to end "Nasty Party" attacks on local residents

Lib Dems in Windsor have renewed calls on Windsor's MP to intervene to stop local Conservatives' unpleasant attacks on members of the public in the local press. In recent weeks local Conservatives have sent a string of unpleasant letters to the newspapers attacking residents in Old Windsor who have dared to express their concern about the Church Road / Straight Road junction where a fatal accident occurred earlier in the year.
